Leasing Consultant and Administrative Assistant

Job Description:

The Leasing Consultant and Administrative Assistant is responsible for leasing apartments and maintaining positive resident relations, as well as assisting the Operations Manager and Property Managers as needed with daily administrative duties and project management.

Primary Leasing Consultant* responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet with prospective residents; tour the community and available apartments
  • Complete all leasing paperwork with new residents from the Rental Application to the Rental Agreement and other move in documents
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails
  • Assist with processing applications for approval
  • Enforce the polices, rules and regulations of the rental agreement
  • Collect, input, and deposit rents
  • Record maintenance requests
  • Listen to resident comments and complaints, problem solve and follow up when necessary
  • Distribute various notices

*Daily location is primarily based at one of our apartment complexes, however location may vary occasionally as needed at multiple multi-family apartment communities.

Primary Administrative Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Management
  • Data Entry
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Collections
  • Filing

This is a part-time position or full-time position, depending on the needs of the right candidate. Monday-Friday required weekly, regardless of whether part- or full-time; some Saturdays required.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle legally and safely

Experience:

  • Previous leasing experience preferred, but not required
  • Some accounting experience preferred

Salary starts at $14.00/hour, based on prior experience.
