Resident and Community Manager

The Resident and Community Manager is responsible for marketing and leasing apartments, maintaining positive resident relations, and performing administrative duties.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet with prospective residents; tour the community and available apartments
  • Complete all leasing paperwork with new residents from the Rental Application to the Rental Agreement and other move-in documents
  • Coordinate and process move-outs
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails
  • Assist with processing applications for approval
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other vendors as needed
  • Enforce the polices, rules and regulations of the rental agreement
  • Collect, input, and deposit rents
  • Record maintenance requests 
  • Listen to resident comments and complaints, problem solve and follow up when necessary
  • Update availability reports
  • Distribute various notices
  • Maintain traffic report
  • Collections
  • Filing
  • Assist the Property Manager as needed

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; prior experience with property management software preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle legally and safely

Experience:

  • Experience in leasing or real estate field preferred
  • 2+ years in sales and/or customer service oriented role

Wage starts at $15.00/hour, based on prior multi-family property and leasing experience.
